Every day I walk along
These paths I know so well
One footstep at a time
Another story I can tell
I’m not sure of where I’m going
Faith tells me where it ends
I can’t see the path before me
Can’t see what’s round the bend
And when I walk into the darkness
And my path becomes unclear
I feel you there beside me
Helping guide me to what’s dear
I am grateful for my sisters
Who are there when I’m in need
Gentle, strong, and caring women
Who show love with every deed
You hold me up and give me strength
To make the most of every day
And if one day, you’re path gets rough
I pray I’ll be there to guide your way

A Father's Love
The kind words of friends
The hug of a child
A dog’s sloppy smile
Or a cats rich purr
The look on a child’s face
When his seeds begin to sprout
Or the cake turns out just right
Or simply knowing someone you love
Is okay
Little every day miracles
We take for granted
Little ways you show us
You are with us
The hug of a child
A dog’s sloppy smile
Or a cats rich purr
The look on a child’s face
When his seeds begin to sprout
Or the cake turns out just right
Or simply knowing someone you love
Is okay
Little every day miracles
We take for granted
Little ways you show us
You are with us
